Cat Care Support Staff


Tammy - Office Manager

Tammy is one of the office managers at Cat Care, and has maintained nearly every position in the clinic since she was a young adult. Tammy graduated from Mercer University in 2016. She understands and appreciates each dynamic of the patients, clients, and staff of the animal hospital. She is most happy when her patients and clients go home feeling better than when they arrived.   


Melanie - Office Manager

Melanie is also an office manager at Cat Care. She has a degree in Criminal Justice. She has been working with animals since 2002. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering with various rescue groups. Melanie joined the Cat Care family in 2016 and is very passionate about customer care.


Wendy - Registered Technician

Wendy graduated from Baker College of Muskegon in 2009, earning her a Registered Veterinary Technician License. Her compassion and leadership roles have earned her the lead technician position at Cat Care, where she ensures the best quality of patient care is upheld in every aspect of the animal hospital.  She excels as a surgical technician, and is most passionate about the comfort of the animals.


Kayla - Registered Technician

Kayla graduated from Southern Regional Technical College in May 2016 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been passionate about animals since a young age. Kayla loves to help animals in need.


Palmer - Technician

Palmer earned her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and her Master's Degree in Agricultural Leadership from the University if Georgia. She joined the Cat Care team in 2017 where she enjoys sharing her passion for animal health through client care. In addition, her interests include rescue for special needs kittens. 


Brittany - Techincian

Brittany is currently a student at University of Georgia studying pre-vet medicine. She has been a technician since 2008 and a member of Cat Care since 2016. She especially loves cats and her biggest goal is to make sure every pet is comfortable, healthy, and happy. 


Alyssa - Kennel Assistant

Alyssa is attending Clayton State University as a junior in high school. She aspires to work in the veterinary field as a long-term career. For now, she enjoys doing anything she can to help out.


Michelle- Kennel Assistant

Michelle has over 24 years of experience working at AZA accredited zoos and aquariums with a focus on behavior modification and enrichment. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in communication with a minor in psychology from the University of Central Florida. Her goal is to help God"s creatures to feel happy, cared for and loved.


Kendra- Kennel Assistant

Kendra is currently in school to become a veterinary assistant. She has owned her own pets since she was young. She enjoys horseback riding in her spare time. Kendra is excited to learn about animal behavior and looks forward to expanding her knowledge here at Cat Care.


Liz - Receptionist

Liz has been around animals her whole life. She started working in the vet field in 2014. She has experience with horses, dogs, and cats and absolutely loves all animals. Liz enjoys taking photos as a hobby. 


Alex - Receptionist

Alex has a psychology degree with a minor in business from Auburn University. She is extremely passionate about animals and loves working with our clients. Alex intends on getting her PhD in animal behavior and continuing to care for animals for the rest of her career.
