Tammy is the Practice Owner and Certified Veterinary Practice Manager(CVPM) at Cat Care of Fayette. She has maintained nearly every position in the clinic since she was a young adult. Tammy graduated from Mercer University with a degree in leadership and communications. She understands and appreciates each dynamic of the patients, clients, and staff of the animal hospital. She is most happy when her patients and clients go home feeling better than when they arrived.  She is certified through the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) as a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional and VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Managers Association).  She is also a proud ally of Pride VMC.

Tammy has 6 cats, 3 dogs, 6 chickens, and always has a rotating door of rescues.  She is happily married for 16 years and has one cool teenager that helps around the hospital on school breaks.

Continual education and advancement in her career is what Tammy strives for everyday.  To her, being committed to the pursuit of excellence in veterinary practice management is achieved through continual education, growth, and a team who strives for the same.
