What We
Offer
Comfort
We offer a cozy environment, located on our third floor where our feline and exotic patients can have a quiet place to rest while they board with us.
Premium Food
We offer top quality food to our boarders. We do request that you bring your own pets food to diminish the opportunity for an upset stomach. We also provide complementary pre and probiotics to our boarders during their stay to help prevent diarrhea while boarding.
A home away from home
Our facility offers a home away from home. We strive for the comfort of our patients and love to provide exercise in our playroom for patients who are fully vaccinated and on flea and heartworm prevention.
Peace of Mind
When boarding with us, you can rest assured that our team takes every precaution to ensure that our patients are taken care of to the best of our ability.
Tender, Loving, Care
Our staff loves the opportunity to shower our patients with extra love, and our boarders offer us the best time to fluff blankets, give fresh catnip and treats.
Dedicated Staff
Our staff is fully dedicated to providing optimal care at all times. We strive for excellence and are always thinking about the comfort of our patients.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does Cat Care provide food?
A: Yes, we offer high-quality dry food, Purina Pro Plan, as part of your pet's stay. However, we recommend bringing your pet's regular food to prevent any gastrointestinal upset due to dietary changes.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: We supply all essential items, including bowls, litter boxes, blankets, and toys. However, you're welcome to bring items from home to enhance your pet's comfort during their stay.
Q: How does exotic boarding work?
A: We cater to our exotics no different than our cats. We offer comfy bedding, unlimited hay (for those that need it), and careful supervision. If you have smaller exotics (ie hamsters, mice, gerbils) we do recommend you bring them in their own cage.
Q: Does my pet need to be current on vaccinations?
A: Yes, your pet must be up to date on their Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations to board. Additionally, FELV vaccination is required for playroom access. We kindly ask for vaccination records to be provided prior to visit or upon drop-off.
Q: Do they get to play with other cats?
A: No, our playroom is exclusively reserved for single cats or cats from the same household. We maintain strict adherence to this policy for the safety and well-being of all our guests.
Q: Do I need any paperwork?
A: Yes, a current boarding admission form is necessary to be completed annually. For new clients, we require a New Client Form, a Boarding Admission Form, and a copy of your driver's license. You may complete these forms in advance or upon drop-off.
Q: Is a deposit required?
A: For new clients, a deposit equivalent to half of your stay is required upon drop-off, with the remaining balance settled at pick-up.
Q: Do you have set times for drop-off and pick-up?
A: Boarders requiring medical services are requested to arrive by 9 am. Otherwise, drop-off hours are from 8 am to 12 pm or 2 pm to 4 pm. We kindly ask all boarders to arrive at least one hour prior to closing time.
"Excellent place! I bring my cat here for boarding and it is so nice to have the peace of mind that he’s well cared for when I’m away. My kitty gets super stressed when we leave (vomits/won’t eat) but at cat care he was happy and ate well! Thank you to Cat Care of Fayette!"
